FACT has been leading the UK video, film and new media arts scene for 20 years by commissioning, exhibiting, promoting and supporting artists’ work and innovation in the fields of film, video, and new media.
Since its inception in 1988, FACT has commissioned and presented over 250 digital media works with artists including Pipilotti Rist, Bill Viola, Vito Acconci and Isaac Julien. FACT opened its own building in 2003 housing galleries, cinemas and spaces for artists training and support.
